What we mean by cookies

“Cookies” here covers cookies and similar browser storage such as local storage. They are small pieces of data a site can keep in your browser. This page explains everything ROS: Origin stores and why.

What this site stores

Audio settings Whether the music is on and how loud it is, so the site does not blast you on every visit. Kept in local storage until you clear it.

Notice state A flag remembering that you have dismissed an on-site notice, so it does not reappear on every page load.

Nothing else No analytics identifiers, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

These are strictly functional: they exist to honour a choice you made, and they hold no personal information.

Third parties

We load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to their servers to fetch the font files. Our web host also keeps standard security logs. If you follow a link to Discord, X, or another platform, that site's own cookies and policies apply once you are there — we have no control over them.

Your control

Because we store nothing but functional settings, there is no consent banner to manage. To remove what is stored, clear cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings, or browse in a private window. The site works normally either way — you will simply be asked for your audio preference again.

If this changes
